01The accessibility menu
In the bottom-left corner of every page there’s a round accessibility button. It opens a small menu with three options: Text size (default, large, extra large), Reduce motion (pauses decorative animation across the site), and Underline links (makes every link visibly underlined). Your choices are saved on your device and apply to every page, every visit.
02Built in from the start
Beyond the menu, this site is built with accessibility in mind: real headings and landmarks for screen readers, descriptive alt text on photos, keyboard-friendly navigation with visible focus and a “skip to content” link, strong color contrast in both light and dark mode, text that scales with your browser or system settings, and layouts that stay identical between modes so nothing jumps around.
03The standard we aim for
We design toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. That’s the widely used international standard for accessible websites. We don’t claim perfection — we claim the commitment.
04Known limitations
Some things are still in progress: our Lobby Day recap video doesn’t have captions yet (a captioned version is on our list), and some older shared documents may not be fully screen-reader friendly. If any of these block you, contact us and we’ll get you the information another way.
